My experience at Worlds Miss Tourism 2015
As you may or may not know i had the opportunity to try a new pageant system, Worlds Miss Tourism.
Heres a description from their website:
The World's Miss Tourism Pageants will change the way you think of pageantry. By providing communities through-out the world with a meaningful alternative for girls and women to celebrate personal charity and personal growth, in support of nonprofits that strengthen our communities and promote the common good. The World's Miss Tourism Pageant Organization is currently on the path of becoming a recognized leader in pageantry, charitable contributions and personal growth.
A friend of mine suggested I look them up due to my involvement in the Tourism industry and it didn't take long to see that i was a good fit. That is one of the most important things to look at when competing in pageantry, asking yourself "am I what they are looking for?". Most pageants have guidelines of what they look for in a queen and it is important to make sure you follow those guidelines and are willing and able to commit to the "job" of being a titleholder. I am a lover of the tourism industry who is highly involved with Tourism Associations in my State as well as active in my community. These are things that "fit the mold" for WMT.
There are several areas of competition:
Interview
Choose a color that flatters you and nude pumps are a must!
State Costume
I chose to represent the Fireflys in our National park. This was a fun anything goes competition!

Evening Gown
Optionals
Spokesmodel, Super Model, Casual Wear, Actress, Talent, Photo optionals.
*These were optional and were a great opportunity for the judges to see you on stage a bit more!
I was lucky enough to take home A Supermodel Supreme which was the highest modeling scores for all modeling events combined!
All in all it was a great experience. The director was extremely friendly and ran a very organized and fun pageant. The prizes were great and the crowns were GORGEOUS! I would suggest this organization to anyone new or seasoned.
Overall rankings: Top 5 Interview in the entire pageant, Mrs Photogenic, 17 & UP Supermodel Supreme and Overall Worlds Mrs Tourism 2014/15!
